China Meheco Donated 1.6 Million Yuan of Anti-epidemic Materials to Beijing Red Cross

On the afternoon of February 27th, China Meheco Group Co., Ltd. donated anti-epidemic materials such as imported disinfectant and medical alcohol worth 1.6449 million yuan to Beijing Red Cross for the prevention and control of COVID-19. Li Xin, member of the Party Committee and President Assistant of China Meheco Group, and Xie Yanzhi, member and Vice Chairman of Beijing Red Cross Party Group, attended the donation ceremony.

After the outbreak of COVID-19, China Meheco was designated by the Necessities Supply Group for the Joint Prevention and Control Mechanism of the State Council as one of the national strategic medicines reserve and procurement units for medicines and medical protection materials, as well as the named company providing Hubei and Wuhan with medical supplies and equipment. Therefore, China Meheco has the responsibility to ensure the urgent procurement, storage, distribution of various drugs, medical equipment and protective materials, as well as the research and development and production tasks of related drugs. The donation is an initiative taken by China Meheco to fulfill the social responsibility as a central enterprise and support the epidemic prevention and control work of Beijing.
